Our Story
Swift Title was founded in DeLand by attorney Coren J. Meeks, out of a frustration many people share: closings that drag on, go quiet for weeks, and end with surprises at the table. We believed a title company could be both meticulous and quick, that careful work and fast turnarounds aren't opposites.
Our office sits on East Rich Avenue, a short walk from Woodland Boulevard and the historic Volusia County Courthouse, the same records rooms we search every day. We handle residential and commercial closings across DeLand, Orange City, Deltona, and the rest of Volusia County, working with homebuyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders. Stop in with questions anytime; the coffee's usually on.
Attorney Coren J. Meeks

Coren J. Meeks is a Florida attorney and a graduate of Stetson University College of Law who settled in DeLand after law school. He founded and owns Meeks & Ceely, P.L., a law firm serving Volusia County families in elder law, Medicaid planning, probate, and guardianship, at the same East Rich Avenue address as Swift Title. He is a member of the Volusia County Bar Association and does pro bono work with Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida.
His legal background runs through elder law, business law, and insurance law, the same territory as most title problems. An estate that was never probated, a deed signed by the wrong party, a lien nobody remembers, an heir nobody expected: having an attorney-owner who works those issues every day means they get recognized early and handled properly, rather than passed up a corporate chain.
